Upcoming Author Interview: Kathy Gilsinan - "The Helpers: Profiles from the Front Lines of the Pandemic"

Getting ready to head out in the early April snow flurries for my 7th author interview for HEC Media and the St. Louis County Library. This time I’ll be speaking in-person with the St. Louis based writer for The Atlantic, Kathy Gilsinan.

Pre-2020 her beat was international affairs and politics. But when COVID came along and shut all things down, she also turned her gaze domestically and began to gather stories about people that were doing their best to make things work during the pandemic. Kathy wove six of these stories together I her first-time, non-fiction book, “The Helpers: Profiles from the Front Lines of the Pandemic”.

Our on-camera sit down is today, and the final edit of the interview will be out on April 20th.
