Video Shoot: Starting Shooting for the Chamber Music Society of St. Louis and "The Language of Music" Video

Here I am behind the camera this week shooting video for The Chamber Music Society of St. Louis outreach program entitled “The Language of Music”. This program was dreamed up by legendary School District of University City music teacher Diane Davenport and executed by University City’s own acclaimed musician Christopher Thomas. On this day, two members of The Society, cellist Bjorn Ranheim and violinist Kyle Lombard came in to the U. City High School’s orchestra class of Amy Camp and supplemented her instruction of students with their professional expertise, one day ahead of the class’ spring concert.

The produced video will explain how members of The Society can team with any middle or high school orchestra class to enhance current instruction and show how the musical notes and instructions on their scores are just like the many different spoken and written languages that humans use every day.
